One of my favorite purple dahlias, these large shaggy blooms have the most magnificent deep purple coloring. They look wonderful paired with other rich jewel tones such as orange, red, and yellow. The fully double flowers are quite large but still usable in bouquets and arrangements. Thomas Edison makes a great addition to the garden.
